With the MyVu Crystal Personal Media Viewer or video glasses you are able to see things around you and not be totally enclosed so you can actually be out doing things and at the same time have a video or a movie playing. I tested it out on the streets by asking people to guess whether I was paying attention to them, or to watching the video that was playing in my MyVu SoloPlus Media Glasses, only 50% of people guessed which one.
the fact that you are able to engage in fairly vigourous activity and still watch the video, opens up the possibility of using them while at the gym out and about exercising, or even just pottering around the house doing various mundane chores. A word of caution though because the glasses projected very bright image onto your rise they do tend to make you look a little bit scary and, frankly, more than a little bit daemonic if you use in the dark.
MyVu Personal Media Viewer Performance
As far as the video image quality and performance of the MyVu Crystal Personal Media Viewer or video glasses is concerned, we found the video image on screen is not quite as good as the real life TV image, however the resolution on the highest quality is at 640 x 480 pixels, which makes the MyVu SoloPlus Media Glasses lower resolution than your high definition TV. Yet the 640 x 480 resolution is certainly higher than any of the portable media devices such as the iPod or iPhone.
In comparing the visual quality of the MyVu SoloPlus Media Glasses I found that the color compared to that of some of the other media players like iPod or iPhone was not quite as vibrant however once you begin watching and become engrossed in the video or movie you tend not to notice that as much until you compare them side by side which you rarely do anyway.
Conclusion: After lots of testing and watching all sorts of media on the MyVu Crystal media glasses or Video glasses, we highly recommend this to anyone who wants to enjoy amazing visual entertainment on their portable media players like ipod, PSP, Iphone, Zune etc.
